Vanilla Coconut Keto Fat Bombs (travel-safe, Paleo, vegan, GAPS option)
These Vanilla Coconut Keto Fat Bombs are such a versatile treat!
Enjoy them as a snack to hold you over during long stretches between meals or indulge in one for dessert without feeling guilty about it!
All of the Benefits, None of the Guilt!
If you’re new here, or even if not, hearing someone say “fat bomb” typically leads one to cringe. Sadly, even if we know otherwise, fearing fat has been so deeply ingrained in us that we still hesitate!
But trust me when I tell you that these little balls of goodness are nothing short of amazing.
Since these Keto Fat Bombs are high fat and low carb, they provide long-lasting, sustainable energy that can help you get through your days without the crashes!
Nutrient Dense Snacking
Coconut butter, one of the ingredients, provides immune-boosting benefits and is even known for its antiviral and antibacterial properties. Additionally, coconut butter has been shown to support weight loss! Not something you’d expect to hear while reading about a “fat bomb” recipe!
Collagen is another ingredient that can support your body and health.
The collagen in these Keto Fat Bombs has been shown to improve the integrity of your skin, hair, and nails! Collagen can also aid in muscle recovery and, my favorite benefit, it supports your gut health!
And then there’s the MCT Oil! MCT Oil is a fantastic fuel for your brain! It’s also known to improve physical performance, promote healthy metabolism, and decrease fatigue!
Keto Fat Bombs don’t sound so scary anymore, right?
Take them to go!
When I made this recipe, I wanted to make sure they were easy to take along! With the weather getting nicer, many of you are finally getting outdoors more often which means you need snacks to keep you going!
If you know you’ll be taking these on the road with you, my suggestion is to use a plant-based protein in place of collagen. This is especially the case if you know you’ll be spending time in the heat!
I hope you enjoy these as much as my family and I do (yes! they are totally kid-friendly!)

Notes
Store your Keto Fat Bombs in the fridge, in an airtight container. They will keep easily for 7-10 days without drying out. They can also be frozen, to be used as needed.
My favorite vanilla collagen in from Primal Kitchen. If you use a plain, unflavored collagen powder you may want to add a bit of additional sweetener. 2 -3 Tablespoons of powdered erythritol is my top choice, or 1/4 teaspoon of liquid stevia will also work well.
I just love all of the health benefits of collagen protein, but you can absolutely use plant-based protein powder instead of collagen if you prefer. If you substitute a plant-based protein powder, reduce the amount called for in the recipe. Otherwise, it can make the dough a little difficult to bind and make the finished Bombs too hard.
